Getting de.oddb to start-up after installation via gem

Getting started

Install the gem

 sudo gem install de.oddb

I type

 sudo oddbd

this results in

so create the directories

 .git/refs/heads/

and then copy the file over

 sudo cp /home/zeno/.software/de.oddb.org/.git/refs/heads/master /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/de.oddb-2.0.0/.git/refs/heads/

and again

 oddbd

results in

de.oddb.org is up and running! That was fast! I already had the DB in place but anyway. I need to try this on GemWindows? as well.
